Achievements obtained from BioShock 2, Axel & Pixel, DeathSpank, and Turning Point [FR/DE].

Completed Games: Axel & Pixel, DeathSpank, and Minerva’s Den DLC from BioShock 2.

Minerva’s Den is actually quality DLC. I know quality and DLC are two words you don’t normally use in the same sentence, but it applies in this instance. I finished up DeathSpank, which may be my favorite XBLA  game ever. Such a great and overlooked game by many. I recommend it to almost anyone, you will laugh. Online co-op would of made it even better, but sadly, that is missing in action. Axel & Pixel is another good little arcade game. I was surprised by the quality of the visuals. It just looks crisp and nice for what it is.

I played a lot of good stuff, but there’s always one asshole that ruins the party. The asshole: Turning Point: Fall Of Liberty. There are a handful of extremely bad shooters on the Xbox360 and Turning Point is easily one of those. I was debating in my head which was the worse game: Turning Point: Liberty of Shit or Legendary: Someones Gonorrhea Dick in The Box. I never came up with a definitive answer to that question. So the great debate rages on.

I changed my diet up a little after I got the shingles in December. A friend of mine recommended to me that  I eat more organic food. Maybe I’m crazy, but the organic stuff just tastes better. Sure, it’s more expensive and all that, but what is more important than your health? If you’re looking to try something new in 2011, try some organic foods. All the cool kids are doing it.

The good and the bad. It was like holding a cup of shit in one hand and delicious chocolate ice cream in the other, with sprinkles. MorphX is just bad, not the worst game out there or epicly bad, just not good. Even though it’s bad from every standpoint you judge or rate a game, I ended up getting some enjoyment out of it. MorphX does one thing well, that’s the way you upgrade your abilities. It seems like something that would be found in a AAA tittle. It’s like a puzzle you create with DNA looking strands for each ability. I think someone came up with the idea for the upgrade system and then proceeded to use old ps1 assets to create the rest of the game.

Dead Space: 2 is everything you would expect if you played the first one. It’s great, looks great, feels great, sounds great. Tony the fucking tiger would approve. There was one part where I thought my game was glitched. I don’t want to ruin it for you, but I was about to turn off my Xbox. The developers tricked me into thinking my game might be glitched. It was genius timing and gameplay rolled into one. Don’t get me started on how awesome it is to shoot the glass out and decompress those necromorph bastards into space. That is amazing gameplay and the dude who thought that up deserves a few circle jerks at EA headquarters.(The guy that thought up achievements deserves the highly coveted circle jerk award as well)

People usually get scared when they get caught in confined spaces. My fear is long hallways in the dark and Dead Space 2 has a few of those. Best if played in the dark, with surround sound blaring, which makes it a pretty jumpy game. A few monster closets here and there for cheap thrills. (What do the monsters do in the closest while they are waiting for you? Answer: Circle Jerk) I’m almost done with Dead Space 2, only a few chapters left. I am eager to see how the last few shape up.

I’m really glad I picked up DeathSpank during the EA half off marketplace content sale. Hilarious game and easily one of the best XBLA games to date. It has gimped local co-op, but still offers some enjoyment for two. Good stuff and highly recommended just for the dialog.

A pretty decent day and probably my best so far this year. I just got in the mood to finish some games off. Not sure how long that mood will last so I may try to ride it out for a bit. My gamerscore moods change rapidly, almost women like. Tomorrow I may buy a wii. Okay, maybe not quite women like, but you get the picture. I guess it’s the appropriate time to talk about those bed hogs, since I’m on the topic of women. They like to get comfy, therefore, they like to take up at least 80% of bed space. I have to jock for position every night. I battle to the bitter end for an extra 10% and will not settle for anything less. (throwing mini elbows works well, along with a couple of knee jabs to the mid section…jk…or am I?) Before you blow your wad on a whopping diamond ring, invest in a king size bed. You may get equal bed space for a few months, but then it’s game over man, GAME OVER! No offense to the 2% of females that frequent this blog.
