Completed DLC: Cars, Roaar, and Vroom. Things on Wheels |
I have come to terms with the fact that “The chase down” will never happen. I missed that opportunity but I’ll still pursue it like a fat kid chasing down an ice cream truck. Nothing has really changed in terms of overall completions since the last update. I now will only count a game completed if all DLC is done as well. That takes away Mafia II from the completed list. On the other hand, I got Things On Wheels back to completion status by throwing my money away on overpriced DLC. So now through out the year you will get to hear me bitch and complain when new DLC comes out and takes a completion away. YAY! I’m not generally THAT dude because I really don’t give a damn. But now I will be more aware when it happens. I don’t have spidey sense towards that shit. I play tons of games and ass DLC comes along all the time. Going back to mostly subpar titles, with even less ambitious downloadedable content is not all that appealing to me.
I get the feeling that everyone thinks I am this crazy psycho nerd gamer. “DUH!” Which is totally fair. I realize it comes with the territory. Or maybe anyone that belittles me to a certain degree are the psycho nerd gamers? People like to judge, mostly due to their own insecurity. But here is a fact: You may want to sit down. I wasn’t born with the nerd gene. Please try not to faint. Sorry, it’s just not in me. Maybe I can get some tips from the grench and learn how to grow something that is not really there. I just have to figure out in what area of the human body the “nerd” is located. Dork stuff, in general, I don’t like. I like Xbox Live a lot and wanted to have the highest score. Then it just snowballed into what it is today. There may or may not be a clear purpose to it all. I’m working with that, it’s a process just like the journey itself. For comparison sake and comparison sake only. The ps3 trophy leader wears a shirt with his completions on it. Just from that I know there’s a big difference in personality. To me, that’s some dork shit. I wouldn’t get caught dead in a shirt with my completions on it.( I own zero pieces of gamer clothing) But I wouldn’t go out of my way to bash him for being who he is. Or anyone else for that matter.
I also seem to throw off this perception that I’m an asshole. Well, that’s what my inside source tells me. Also know as the gossip girl wonder, Rand Al. By throw off, I mean people judging without getting to know me for even a second. More than likely out of spite for whatever reason. I care so little about my gamerscore that I have never brought it up to anybody, not even once. Even when gamerscore is brought up by another person. It’s not like I’ll stroll into Gamestop and brag about how large my gamerscore is. Granted, I’m an introvert by nature. I’m the type of person who would rather watch one succeed, then to watch one fail. Correct me if I’m wrong but there’s a good percentage that would rather see failure. Not sure if there’s a point to this but I’ll treat everyone the same way. Whether your gamerscore is 0 or 400,000. Same goes if your kill to death ratio is .10 or 2.0. Dork stuff does not impress me. I’m more drawn to good people. The whole gamer population is so judgmental, it’s like a flashback to middle school days. This type of immaturity is stunting the growth of gaming seen in a good light. We (gamers) are taking two steps forward and two steps back at every corner. Have you ever watched judge Judy? She judges people for a living. You don’t want to act like that, she is a bitch.
